On 1 July 2025, the European Commission unconditionally cleared the acquisition of About You by Zalando, one of the most significant mergers in Europe’s fashion and lifestyle e-commerce sector. The transaction was completed on 11 July, bringing together two major pan-European platforms with complementary strengths in B2C and B2B digital commerce.

Zalando has acquired 91.45% of About You’s share capital and plans to initiate a squeeze-out of the remaining minority shareholders as part of a full integration into a wholly owned subsidiary.
