Carina Weber
Senior Economist
Carina Weber is a Senior Economist in the Munich office.
Since joining E.CA Economics in April 2023, Carina has worked on cases in industries such as automotive electronics, railway construction, international railway operation, telecommunications, sugar production, food retail and the natural gas industry. The cases have covered various areas of competition including mergers, private legal disputes, antitrust disputes, and cases of abuse of a dominant market position.
Carina holds a dual bachelor’s degree (BA) in business administration from the Berlin School of Economics and Law with a specialisation in transport and logistics. In addition to the studies, she gained three years of part time work experience in the logistics sector at Deutsche Post DHL. During her graduate studies, she worked in a consulting company and as a business analyst.
For her master’s degree at the Technical University of Berlin (MSc), she focused on empirical industrial organization. In her thesis, she estimated a model of demand and supply in the American air traffic sector and then carried out a merger simulation.
