Paul Püplichhuisen

Senior Economist

Paul Püplichhuisen is a Senior Economist in the Brussels office of E.CA Economics. He joined E.CA in January 2024. Further, Paul is currently an external PhD candidate at the Düsseldorf Institute for Competition Economics (DICE), where his research focuses on algorithmic collusion and competition in digital markets.

He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Bayreuth.

Prior to joining E.CA, Paul worked as a scientific assistant at DICE and as a student assistant at Fraunhofer FIT in Bayreuth. He has also completed internships at E.CA Economics (2021), Solve Economics (2020), and Deutsche Telekom (2018).
